Outline
The 7th and last of the 'I am' statements. This one suffers more than most by being taken out of context. Abiding in Christ is only a limited part of it's meaning. By taking in context with the previous verse is it shown that it is not a call to polish our souls but a call to battle. It is a statement of reassurance for God's people.Sermon outline -
Reassurance in regard to -
1. Persecution from the world
2. Participation in Christ
