Our lives would be great if we were always having mountain top experiences. This portion of scripture deals with Christ's transfiguration - His mountain top experience. The purpose of the transfiguration is twofold -
1. A time of teaching
2. A time of encouragement
But what happens when the mountain top experience is over -
1. A double tradedy
2. A ray of hope
3. The deliverance Jesus can bring
