Outline
Throughout His life, Jesus continually escapes capture and evades death because His time had not yet come. Now 6 days before Passover, Jesus arrives back in Bethany. In these verses, we see events happen the day before Palm Sunday. It's interesting that in this testing time, Jesus is back in the home of His beloved and close friends. We can note several things from the great act of kindness that takes place:1. It was prompted by Gratitude
2. It was generous in its Application
3. It was unique in its Symbolism
