Genesis 3 explains why there is murder, hatred, lies, rape, disobedience, sickness, misery etc..

It shows the sad, tragic history of the fall of man. We read of the very first sin which affected the whole human race. All that devastates the world can be traced back to this sin. The great prototype for every sin :-
1. God's authority is questioned
2. God's word is distorted
3. God's judgement is denied
4. God's character is slandered
